Every piece is handcrafted - no templates, no duplicates, no mass production. Each one is created individually, guided by texture, movement, and instinct.
Some lean bold. Some feel a little unhinged. None is meant to blend in.
This started as a way to keep my hands busy, influenced by the 20 years I lived in New Orleans - something creative alongside my work as a therapist. What began as a side project quickly became something more: a space to make pieces that feel expressive, personal, and a little fearless.
I’m drawn to contrast - vintage and modern, delicate and dramatic, structured and undone. That tension shows up in every piece.
Nothing is replicated. Once something is gone, it’s gone.

ABOUTTHE ARTISTMy work comes from old houses, family history, grief, texture, ritual, music, and collecting beauty wherever I can find it.
It comes from flea markets and overgrown gardens. From the quiet drama of vintage jewelry. From late nights rearranging rooms, listening to records, painting walls too dark, and believing a home should feel like a living work of art.
It comes from my German grandparents, who taught me that beauty lives in craftsmanship, detail, and the objects we keep close for decades. It comes from restoring a 1904 house room by room and learning that character is almost always more interesting than perfection.
It also comes from loss. From learning how deeply objects can hold memory, comfort, identity, and emotion. Some pieces feel bold and theatrical. Others feel softer and more personal. But all of them are made with the belief that what we wear can help us feel more connected to ourselves.
Gilded Riot Studio was built for people who want their style to feel expressive, layered, a little eccentric, and entirely their own.
I don’t believe in saving beautiful things for special occasions. I believe in wearing them to dinner parties, grocery stores, heartbreaks, celebrations, ordinary Tuesdays, and everything in between.
